Nevada Poker Rooms Having A Profitable Year So Far

The Nevada poker rooms have seen a small increase in revenue during the first six months of 2015, compared to 2014. According to the state gaming regulators, July got a total revenue of $15,840,000, which is an increase of 4.46% over the same month in 2014.
During this time, there were 70 poker rooms with a combined 761 cash game tables. Compared to the same time in 2014, there were 806 tables, which see an increase in revenue per table. The month by month revenue so far this year is:
- January: $9,782,000
- February: $8,530,000
- March: $9,690,000
- April: $8,511,000
- May: $10,320,000
- June: $15,840,000
- July: $15,840,000
The World Series of Poker started in May and ended in the middle of July, which always gives Nevada and Las Vegas a boost in revenue. However, cash game revenue all over the state have been steadily increasing every year. The card game simple gets more popular as time goes by.
