Europe is quickly becoming the continent to play poker in, seeing as how the WSOPE is currently taking place there, and next month the PokerNews Cup Main Event will be hosted at the King’s Casino in Rozvadov, Czech Republic starting on November 19. This will be the ninth edition of the tournament, seeing as how it has been so successful in the past, many believe there will be an even bigger turnout than before.
The main reason for its popularity is due to the combination of a low buy-in, high guarantee, and run by a reputable and professional organization. This year’s Main Event will come with just a low €250 buy-in, but will have a huge guaranteed prize pool of €200,000. As Jon Squires, CEO at iBus Media and PokerNews, states,
“After the success of the past edition, we are ready to continue to support our players by giving them the opportunity to get into some great poker action and enjoy a premium live event for the same low buy-in as always. The fact that many players do not want to spend thousands of Euros to play at live events does not mean that they are ready to sit at any low buy-in tournament,” Squires continued. “People want competition, professionalism, and value — and this is what everyone who works at the PokerNews Cup is committed to.”
The Main Event will have four starting flights, and will have players entertained until November 23. This is not the only event that will be taking place during the tournament, as there are others like:
The last chances that players have of qualifying for the tournament that is less than a month away will end by October 28. PartyPoker and Redbet Poker are giving their players the chance to win a seat at the Main Event, so see if you qualify to get those promotions.
